The remote and desolate ice world of Neptune was never particularly appealing as a target for colonization, but now maintains a relatively small population as part of the Saturnian territorial umbrella. Most of the economy of the region is fueled by academic tourism, as the listening arrays over Neptune were the first facilities to decipher and display the Signal and correspondingly the planet boasts some of the finest psi research centers known to man.
